Theme Park Tickets

Everybody loves going to the theme park, even if you do not appreciate the white knuckle rides, there are many other things on offer making it an enjoyable day out with the family or friends. There is so much to do and see at theme parks these days, as well as plenty of places and options to eat whilst there. There are things to see, rides, games and attractions suitable for kids and adults alike. They have certainly come on a long way over the past few years offering more things to do and more fun to be had! You will need to take you tickets or vouchers on the day and show at the entrance to the parks to gain entry. Once in you are free to enjoy all the rides as often as you want at no additional charge. You must specify a date when buying your ticket, and you will only be allowed entry on the date specified.

Please be aware that all Alton Towers and Thorpe Park options are print out only. You will therefore need access to email and a printer to use your ticket. This ticket must be presented on the day at the gate along with the card used to purchase. Failing to do this will mean you will not be allowed entrance to the parks.

Duration

You are free to spend the whole day at UK theme parks. They open between 9am to 10am (rides normally open at 10am) and although closing times vary it tends to be around 5.30pm. Please be aware that UK theme parks tend to close during the winter months (normally early November to April time for Alton Towers and Thorpe Park and September to April for Camelot).

You are required to board the Eurostar at a specific time on both the journey there and the return journey for Paris Disneyland (this is not optional, there is only one time available going and one time coming back). You will get to spend approximately six hours at the park.

Are spectators welcome

Anyone who wishes to enter the theme parks must purchase a ticket.

Are these experiences weather dependent?

Theme parks do not tend to close in poor weather conditions; instead, they close completely during the winter. We do advise you to check the forecast prior to booking your ticket, as you will be spending a lot of time outdoors and more than likely queuing!

Other information

Your child must be aged under eleven years old to qualify for a children’s ticket, meaning twelve years and over qualify for adult tickets.

There are no age restrictions for these theme parks, although height restrictions do apply on the rides. These can be determined once at the parks.

Be prepared to queue for the rides, especially during peak times such as weekends, bank and school holidays when the parks can get very busy.

Please note that trips to Disneyland are valid for either the theme park OR Walt Disney Studios, not both. Passports will be required to travel on the Eurostar. These packages are day trips only and do not include overnight accommodation.
